Julia Fairchild is a clinical psychologist. Mackenzie Brantley Jr. is a physician. He knew they were meant to be together from the moment they met. In spite of vast differences in their childhoods, they seem destined for a fairytale life then along came the storm.

Both Julia and Mac were hit by lightning. Julia was taken to a hospital in Albuquerque exactly where she meets Dr. Steven Duke. Steve has constantly been a rival of Mac. No friendship is lost among them. When Steve meets Julia, he wishes hed met her first.

Mac told Julia tiny about his family members. The household is shocked by the resemblance between Julia and Selma, Macs mother. It doesnt take lengthy for Julia to comprehend that this is a family members with secrets.

Macs past reside-in, Emaline Pierce, is determined to win Mac back. Its not him she wants, its the family pecan grove, The Red Stone Grove, and his older brother. Shell do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

The lives of the Brantley and Pierces are interwoven with dark, deadly secrets, secrets that could destroy both families.

Julia Fairchild by Louise Gaylord is one of those books that you wont put down till you read every single word on each and every page. Ms. Gaylord has woven a tale of betrayal, murder and passion. The characters have depth.

Reading this book is like looking in a window and watching the lives of the characters unfold ahead of you. Julia and Mac are two of the most complex characters Ive ever read about. They are not ideal, far from it. They have their quirks and each makes blunders. Dolores and Frank as supporting characters had been fascinating.

It was simple to really feel Dolores bitter anger more than Franks betrayal. Frank wasnt the most likable sort, but he was real. This is one particular of the very best books Ive read in years. Properly accomplished Ms. Gaylord. It is with wonderful honor that I advocate Julia Fairchild to these who appreciate fiction and a really great drama.
